SO! I just watched Blood recently because I’ve been busy and also the negative news and responses from the viewer kind of affect me too hahaha. Sorry for that Blood cast. But here and now, I want to state or share my opinions and what I think about the drama. First of all, the dating news of Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun does not affect my review for the drama but it affects me when watching the sweet scenes between them. Hehehehehe . They are so good together. Ok now back to the topic.

Honestly speaking I don’t find any awkward acting of him during that time. He did so well with the Romanian speaking also the surgery and everything. He talks casually. And for other scene, some people say that he doesn’t have emotions and so on. Dude! Ji Sang is a vampire and vampire is a cold-hearted creature.

And with the way Ji Sang has been raised, it’s affect his character. Plus, he’s been living in a forest and doesn’t have any friends and also the vengeance that he holds for a long time for his parents so he’s definitely a cold person and he is not open with people he barely knew. But after sometimes he become more open and that is thanks to Goo Hye Sun’s character; Yoo Ri Ta.

She’s kind of affecting his attitude because of the high curiosity that she have for him. And don’t get me started with love-hate scenes that they have.

Yoo Ri Ta is a persistent woman and she’s just a bratty girl honestly. Everything that Ri Ta does for Ji Sang sometimes annoyed him and sometimes amuse him. I love when Ri Ta doing small things and he will smile shyly like he’s so amused by Ri Ta.

And for that play, Goo Hye Sun doing her best in portraying that character. She’s a good actress and she’s trying her best on portraying the character because that character is not easy to act. Not anyone can act as bratty adult. Besides, all her drama before, she’s act as an innocence and happy go lucky person. For this drama, the character is kind a heavy for her, I think; but it’s worth for her trying right.

Along the drama we can see the improvement made by the two main leads. I don’t want to touch about the acting skill that Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun have because I’m not expert on that category but as a fan and a viewer, I satisfied with their acting and I think people should give encouragement to them because it’s a new thing for them. For Ahn Jae Hyun, this is the first lead drama for him and he’s a rookie actor so, people should be lenient to him. It’s not that I’m biased him or not, it just that, as a rookie actor we don’t have to compare how he portray the character as an A-list actor. He’s new and he is still learning. For Ji Jin Hee, well he’s a really good actor. We can’t deny it. He is an experienced actor compare to Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun and he’s really great on play for villain hahaha. And the interactions between Jae Wook and Ji Sang are kind a bit confuse as people say. For me, they are using each other. They are frenemy. Jae Wook wants Ji Sang on his side and for Ji Sang, his desire to become human sometimes attract him to go to Jae Wook to get Jae Wook’s stuff so that he can feel how to be humans. They are beneficial for each other. Now, about Hyun Woo, Soo Eun and Chief Jung, Chul Hoon, J and Ga Yeon well they are good and I don’t want to talk much about their character. But they complete the drama. Hahahaa.

Now about the story-line. Honestly, the story-line is great but it’s not that great too because sometimes it’s kind of repetitive and I don’t know where actually the repetitive happens hahaha But I felt that way. It can be listed as one of the best story-line but the ranking maybe somewhere in 7 or 8 for 2015 dramas. I heard rumors about the drama being sucks but actually it’s not suck. Seriously! It’s a medical/fantasy drama. It’s not a common love story drama that involves rich and poor or incurable disease or something that lead the lead actors die. Come on! We are in 21st century and the technologies are so much better and we should use it to make an amazing films or drama. And for medical theme drama is something that I really enjoy watching. For Blood, the story-line is more about the liver cancer and the surgery, the finding for the vaccine for VBT-01 virus also there are VTH-16 etc., friendships, frenemy, family, loyal (Jae Wook’s infected people)

and the love story which is not much but it’s satisfied. Viewer also can get amused when there are flirting scenes between Hyun Woo and Soo Eun,

For the medical terms and everything such as the surgery, the patient’s conditions, I think that was great and they only focus on liver cancer so viewer can have more knowledge on that kind of cancer. And for the virus, don’t believe that. There is no such thing. It’s a fantasy hahaha. I like when they discussing about the cancer/ patient’s condition and the viruses because it’s intellectual thing. It can brain your mind to understand and focus for the drama. And the surgery is real for me. Wow, the actors are really great on convey that part during the surgery because they look damn good. Hahahaha (with the help of the real surgeon of course).
Overall for me the drama is a good drama. (There are great, good, satisfied and not good drama for me). For viewer that values the acting skills of the actors I just want to say to focus more on the story line because it's good.

Firstly I want to press on when Ji Sang went for Jae Wook when Hyun Woo die.

If I am Ji Sang, I will definitely go for that bad man too. I mean you just kill my only dongsaeng that I love so much. Dude! They are soulmates according to Hyun Woo himself. It seems reckless but when you're in an angry state you tend to do something that out of your mind and you just want to get revenge or something. Some people criticize on that situation which is not necessary actually, seriously??????? Try to be on Ji Sang’s shoes and you’ll do the same.
And for the ending, Ji Sang die!!! Ji Sang is dead. (crying Han River).

That was unexpected for me. He’s the cure actually. The cultivating process must be inside him; his blood because he’s the pure blood. And he miraculously alive at the end of the drama.
Well that’s make me so curious and actually make viewer thinks of what actually happens. I think all the answers are lies within the drama series. And Jae Wook was aging and dying.

During the fighting scene between Ji Sang and Jae Wook, obviously Chief Jung gave the syringe that contain the decomposed blood of Ji Sang. My understanding from the discussion between Chief Jung and Soo Eun, the decomposed blood of Ji Sang has made the infected blood’s telomerase separates which has a relations with the cancer and aging. Basically, when telomerase is decrease, telomeres are also decrease and the process of aging is fast and for cancer patients, they will die. Further info you can read on this:
Then, Jae Wook is not cure from the virus because the cure can only get when Ji Sang is dead and when the cultivating process ended. He is aging because of Ji Sang's decomposed blood. Well, he’s a vampire so he can’t die right? My opinion, he’s getting weaker because of that but he’s not dead because the decomposed blood is not curing him. And maybe he’s the one that after Ri Ta at the Romania during the last episode. Who knows? hehehe

But why? Because I don’t think Ji Sang is dead because
“ Dr. Jung and Dr. Choi have the vial prepared and ready to
inject into Ji Sang for it to cultivate (meaning, he must be dead for 20-30
minutes). What a strange comment by Dr. Jung, though, that Ji Sang’s unique
blood auto-genesis may mean that he may even be able to live without a heart.
Rather than the heart circulating the blood, it is the blood that makes his
heart beat.”
Get
that? I think that Ji Sang only dead for a while. Eventually, he will revive
back to life because his blood is auto-genesis and even his heart is stabbed he’s
still alive. Look at Chul Hoon and Ga Yeon, when they get stabbed, they die
much faster. They even cannot stand on their own while Ji Sang can even go to
the hospital and watch the sunrise. And about the sunrise, Ji Sang can heal
faster so I think he was knocked out at the rooftop because of the stabbed in heart
not because the sunrise and he revive from the dead when his blood start to circulate
and revive his heart beat. (Ji Sang’s special case because he’s the pure
blood). And back to the sunrise, I think when Ji Sang dies, his skin does not
react anymore with the sunlight so I strongly think and decide that he’s not
dead from the sunrise. And after he come back alive again, he’s fully cure. Hahahaha
but not cure from vampirism. Cure here means that he is healthy like always.

Finally, I said all of this! This drama makes me think and study a lot. Damn! I totally forget about biology. Well I’m studying for engineering. Never look back at biology and chemistry especially biology. So that’s all. My thought is that the Blood drama is not a not good drama. It is a good drama and worth to watch. The writer make us the viewer to think about the ending and I think that is brilliant and great because from there we will do analysis and have more understand about the concept of the drama. Hehehehe Intellectual things my friends. And not all story has a happy ending. Can I say that I want the epilogue of this drama? hahaha Please do the epilogue.
So, don’t forget to watch. Recommended to those who love medical concept of drama. Because they talk using medical language. Seriously. Hahahaha
